Prior to February of 2025, my experience with two wheels was restricted to bicycles I hadn’t been on in at least 10 years. In fact, growing up, I was raised in the kind of household where I wasn’t even allowed on trampolines as they were deemed “too dangerous”

Some rides are just about the road. Others are about the people, the unexpected meals, and the chance encounters that stay with you long after the bike cools. This one—seven days and nearly 3,000 miles—was about all of it.

What you catch in the shop, you don’t suffer on the road.

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Kelley, one of our most recent Riding Academy graduates, to learn more about her history with the brand, her decision to take the course, and ultimately, what it was like to go from complete novice to licensed motorcyclist in just one weekend.
